I was two week lates for my period. My cycle is pretty regularRegular insulin but not exactly clockwork. However, when I started what I thought was my period it was very, very heavy with many clotsBlood clots. There were also instances where brightBright beginnings red blood would just flow quickly and continuously. What are the chances that I could have miscarried and not known that I was pregnant? What should I do? What would a doctor need to know? Is there any way that a doctor could tell me for sure if I miscarried after the fact?
It is possible that a late, clotty or unusual period could indicate a very early miscarriage. The only way to know for sure would be to have a blood test done right at that time, and even then the test might come too late to catch it. Probably this happens often to womenWomen's way, but mostly is written off to an odd period. If time has gone by since this happened to you, there will be no way to tell.
