Missed period and blood clots

I gave birth to a beautiful baby girl in Feb of this year (2009), i never went to my 6week check up. I've had my period every month after but i missed Aug and it is now Sept. My last period was really heavy and lasted about 5days and there was alot of clotts. What does this mean? Could i be pregnant again.

When was your last period? July? The last period that you had that was heavy and clotty could be a miscarriage.

If you have been having sex then yes there is a possibility that you are pregnant. Might be worth doing a pregnancy test.
