Missed period

I decided to stop taking my birth control after my last period which was on December 29, 2011.. My birth control usually regulates my period to where I get it the 4th Thursday of every month. I also was not sexually active for over a year until I had sex with my boyfriend about 2 weeks ago. We had protected sex and then the 2nd time was unprotected, but he pulled out in time & did not nut in me. If i was on my birth control, I would normally get my period on January 26th but I skipped my period for this month. I've been getting occasional cramps and this weird thick white to yellowish discharge falls into the toilet when I urinate. (No itching or burning) I've also just started working out 3 times a week and have been under a little stress with school and moving into a new area. Is there any chance that I'm pregnant or do I just need time for my body to get readjusted? (because of stopping my birth control, sex, and exercise) OR do you think its something more serious because of the weird discharge?

It is always possible that you're pregnant if you're having sex - even if you're using full birth control.  But speaking to the pull-out method from experience, it definitely is NOT 100% effective.

Having said that, it can take your body up to 8 weeks after going off the pill to have a normal period.  It may be your body taking some time to adjust of coming off the hormones.

As far as the discharge, as long as it doesn't smell and you aren't having an pain, discomfort or feaver, it's probably totally normal.  However, I'm going to point out that increased vaginal discharge does happen in pregnancy.

I would sugest to take a pregnancy test - use first morning urine to be most accurate.  If it's negative and you still don't get your period, test again in a week.  If you still don't get your period, call your doctor.

Best of luck to you.

There is always a posibility of pregnancy just cause he pulled out does not mean the pre come did not do its thing and get to your egg so its best to check but you still have time to have a period it could just be late and your bodyis probably still just regulating
