get a pelvic ultrasound. just to make sure you dont have an ovarian cyst or pcos. its not bad at all, but thats something that can cause you to have irregular periods all of a sudden. and if you wanna get pregnant, its a good thing to check for that. just tell your gyn that you wanna have a pelvic ultrasound.

I agree with Boosty. You should give the doc  a call. From what I understand, your body uses one ovary one month and then the other the next. they alternate. You might have  a problem with one of your ovaries. If this is the case, I wouldnt panic. Many people have children with only one ovary. Best of luck and keep us posted!!!

Try not to worry too much.  Sometimes our stress levels interfere with our ovulation and menstrual cycles.  Other things that interfere with it are stress, rigorous exercise and illnesses.  It could be that you are so worried about the irregularity of your periods, that you may be contributing to the irregularity without meaning to.  Also, check with your mother, if you are comfortable enough talking to her about it because sometimes, its just genetics.  Good luck with your medical exam.

Have a nice day.
