What would cause this sudden change? I did have sex yesterday. Same and only partner over 41/2 yrs now. I also began The Firm Workout series five weeks ago. Can a new exercise regime effect your PMS routine this much? I am also under a lot of stress, but it has been ongoing with a terminally ill parent since last August. Let me know what you think. Thank you.
One thing that can affect period cramps is caffeine. If you have recently cut back on your caffeine either intentionally or just because it has been hot out and you haven't been drinking much coffee, your period can just sneak up on you. Also, a workout routine might indeed have an impact, if it's a lot different than it was before.
OH ITS DEFINITELY DIFFERENT. I WAS NOT WORKING BUT A FEW TIMES A WEEK FOR THIRTY MINUTES. I AM NOW WORKING OUT AT LEAST FIVE DAYS A WEEK WITH YOGA, CARDIO AND WEIGHTS, USING THE FIRM. ITS VERY ACTIVE.
Well, then, I'd vote for the workout routine being the reason. Yes it can affect PMS, because exercise can straighten out your whole body and how every system in it interrelates. Apparently infertile women who don't exercise can even cause themselves to get regular on their periods and their ovulation if they begin a good workout routine. You can also make your periods go away entirely if your body-fat gets too low (this is not a good idea because it's bad for your bones, but as you see, there is a big impact). So of course a good exercise regime could alleviate the problems of PMS.
