My breasts are almost always sore

I am 23 now, as I'd say as early as 17 I've experienced a lot of breast pain throughout each month. There is usually only a week out of the entire month that they do not hurt. Most of the time they both hurt, however a lot of times my left breast is in a lot more pain than the right. When I put pressure on certain areas it's almost unbearable. I have been screened for breast cancer regularly and there are no problems there. They aren't of too big a size either, 34Bs. I don't know if this is just something that has to do with my hormones that I am doomed with for a while (hopefully not forever!) Or if this is something common among many other women? Perhaps something in my diet?
