My labia minora is HUGE is it normal?

i just learnes a little about the labia minora...its the lips thing part of the vagina right? im 17 and ever since i was like 10 or 12 i remember i use to scratch down there or just touch but not masturbate and then i noticed that my left labia minora( LB) started to get bumpy then a little swollen then it just started growing! Just my left one! and now it jiggles well not by itself but when i touch it i can make it jiggle. But its so big that i can stretch it. i can have it like lay down on my vagina part. And its just uncomfortable! And the LB its not the same color as my skin! Its like dark brown or something! i can seriously just have it popping out of my underwear if i want to! this is embarassing but i seriously can just get it and stretch it out to the side of my underwear and just see the whole thing! its so wrinkly  disgusting! when i stretch it(width kind) to make it like a square shape there is like bumpy areas like white bumbs! it doesnt hurt though! it doesnt bleed! its just there to bug me cuz it doesnt itch either! is it cancer? do i have like a penis growing or somethin? its just long not super long but im going to measure it! its like almost and inch and when i stretch it, its like almost 2 inches. and i think i have yeast infection but sometime i have like white stuff around the right side of my vagina! im scared it might be vulvar cancer or something! HELP PLEASE! its embarassing to tell my parents. if i tell my doctor is it possible that i can tell her not to tell my parents?

Your labia sounds very normal! The little bumps are fordyce spots. The colour is absolutely normal - almost all labia minora/clitoral hoods are about 2-3 shades darker, if not more dark.

If it is only 2 inches when stretched, it really isn't that large. If it is uncomfortable, make sure to wear underwear that actually fit. It shouldn't be getting pinched or rubbed if your underwear fits properly.

The white stuff could be discharge. Discharge is normal and healthy. Yeast infections usually include itching, burning, and clumps in the discharge.

You do NOT have a penis growing. In fact, labia minora are very feminine and normal. Labia minora is a good thing. It makes sex more pleasurable for you AND for a guy.

Nothing you can do will make your labia grow. Sex or masturbating does NOT cause any change in labia minora appearance or length.

Making out with my boyfriend was way out of the question..i know it ***** big time... but accepting ourselves the way we are is the only thing we can do i guess.. so yeah.. hi5 girl cause you're not alone :).

If it hurts to pee, then you might have a Urinary Tract Infection. That can happen from anything. Definitely go see a Dr soon. That will not get better on its own. When you see the Dr about that, you can probably let them know about any other issues you are having.
Don't worry about the boy friend part... That'll come when you are ready. Enjoy being young!!

You CANNOT stretch your labia minora from sex or masturbation. That is a myth that does not make sense. It is genetic.

Sweetheart, don't have sex when you are only 13.  No matter what your boyfriend says.  Give yourself some time to still be a preteen and goof around and have not so many cares.  This is the last chance you will ever have in your life to be a kid, and while it probably makes you impatient, there is also a lot of freedom in it that goes away when your virginity is lost.

Lynda Barry had a funny cartoon she did a long time ago where the main character was thinking of breaking off with her boyfriend, but she was saying to herself, "But then I won't have a boyfriend and then what would I do?"  and that was the only reason she wasn't breaking it off.  It was funny because that is so often the line of reasoning of women and girls, yet it's the dumbest line of reasoning really.  Sometimes it is really nice to get rid of some randy horndog who doesn't meet your needs anyway.

Anyway, I suggest you get yourself some real, dispassionate sex education.  Not the embarrassing speech from your mother, and not half-baked myths from your friends, and not self-interested suggestions from your boyfriend.  There are any number of books and some good websites written for people your age who are facing these questions.  They tell it all and do it well, and are certainly not boring.

Take good care.  Your labia are fine.  The bumps on your rear might be boils, they happen sometimes.  See your doc about those.

My Labia Minoras are big as well, I'm extremely insecure about them,  especially after my boyfriend told me he is ready for sex, I wish I was, but the only reason why I'm not is because my labias... also, this may sound weird but I've had a few bumps near and almost in my (lower) cheeks. I clean myself ALOT down there and make sure I am clean, and I still have those bumps which hurt. How do I get rid of them! They make my bum unattractive and I don't want my boyfriend to think I'm dirty.

Delete the spaces.

She started as an artist and has almost accidentally found a second career as, essentially, someone who knows a lot about labia.   Her stuff is really good, really clear and quite self-affirming.

Check out Betty Dodson.  I'll see if I can find the site and post a link.

Doesn't sound abnormal to me. Women's labia have come in all sorts of different shapes and sizes, and they are rarely the exact same size.
But, if it hurts or is painful during sex or otherwise, you should go see your gynecologist.
