Hello--
I had the same problem a few years back and they never did find out what was wrong with me. I had a period for almost 6 months straight (no spottingVaginal bleeding between periods or extremely heavy bleeding but definitely a flow) a few years ago. I had ultrasounds, scans and ALOT of bloodwork done and it was all inconclusive. The only thing that stopped it was switching my birth controlControl Control rx. I had to switch a few times before I found one that regulated my cycle. It was Low-Ogestrel.
Several years ago, my gyn prescribed something for me (sorry I can't remember the name of it) to stop bleeding. I wasn't birth controlControl Control rx pills though. Maybe you could ask your gyn about it. Sorry not much help.
