My naughty bits are very itchy

I'm new here and I just have a quick question - I finished my period a couple of days ago and I'm very itchy down there. Normally I have some irritation after my period for a day or 2 - but I think that has somethig to do with using pads - but this is lasting longer than a day or 2.
I've never had a YI so I'm not sure what I should be looking for - there's no unusual discharge or smell - just itchy like nobody's business.
Does anyone have any idea what it might be?
