My period is 4 days late and I'm on the pill

I have been taking the pill regularly for over a yr now and been having normal periods. Last month I had a normal period that came on at the normal date. This month I took my active pills and tossed the sugar pills which I normally do but sometime I do take that first sugar pill. Anyway I have not gotton my period yet and it is 4 days late I've been having cramps but still no period can someone please help me with this issue????

Hey Im not saying this is the same in your case... but when this happened to me I was pregnant. My period is like clock work even when i was on the pill and when it didnt come on time i tried to ignore the fact.... but i was pregnant. but if i were you I would abstain from sex. not take the pill and take a pregnancy test in 2 weeks time. and then go on from there...

i have also been on the pill for over a year, and i have the same question as you do. my period is very regular, and i take my pills the exact same time every single day. well, this month i was already on my 5th sugar pill with no period!! i did start later that day, but am wondering if i am pregnant or not?
