My period only last for 2 days is that normal!!!!!

i was wondering if i could be pregnant I AM 19 YRS OLD....ummm last month on August 6,2012 i had intercourse with my boyfriend and he definitely came inside me i was worry and stress out so i started having a lot of cramps and something bugging me on the lower left side of my hip for like about 1 week or so...then on Aug 15,2012 my period came and it only last for about 2 days it came really light so on the 3rd day i wasn't on my period anymore like it got cut off....on the 4th day i was sort of like spotting some brown stuff..so i thought it was normal...now we are on September so i thought my period maybe wasn't gonna come because i was one day late my period just came Sept 16,2012...and only lasted for 2 days again it just got cut off today Sept 18,2012....so i am kind of worry i don't know what to think i don't know if i am pregnant or not because last month on august i took 2 pregnancy test and they both came out negative...oh one more thing before my period came this month my breast hurt so much like they were sore and tender i couldn't even put on a brawl because it would bug me i even felt them heavy at some point. COULD I BE PREGNANT??

MEDICAL PROFESSIONAL
Hello,
It is very unlikely for the periods to last this long. This could be oligomenorrhea that is infrequent or occasional very light periods. The causes could be disease of thyroid gland or pituitary gland, hormonal imbalance,  pcos (cyst in ovary) etc. It could be due to hormonal changes in your case for which you should consult a gynecologist.

It is very difficult to precisely confirm a diagnosis without examination and investigations and the answer is based on the medical information provided. For exact diagnosis, you are requested to consult your doctor. I sincerely hope that helps. Take care and please do keep me posted on how you are doing.
