NEED ANSWERS PLEASE VERY WORRIED

so I was showering this morning and as I started to shave (down there) I noticed a lump inside my skin on the outer lip of my vaginia, like on my lip above my clitoris. it's about the size of a pea, it's sore to the touch as well kinda like a bruise. it wasn't there lastnight but that's side of my vagina seemed to be a little sore and this morning when I showered it was there. should I be concerned ? or is this something common and self treatable ?

it honestly may just be an ingrown hair follicle, they're pretty common. give it a few days before you get too concerned

Also considering you mention you shave the area. Shaving causes ingrown hairs so blockage is apt to happen. I had the exact same lump in exact same spot, and knew since I'm still a virgin, it wasn't an STD.. however, I was still nervous. But thankfully the matter dropped in s conversation with a friend of mine who also mentioned a similar lump and so I looked into it further. All was required was to wash the area with warm water (no soaps) and I seriously thought it'd take a few washes but only after the first wash, the heat from the warm water seemed to have opened up the pores and pus and blood was released.
