Need help understanding what is going on???? Bad smell..

Im 18, and about 3 months ago i started to have sex. I can honestly say i have sex a lot and the first 2 months were fine and everything was normal. But here recently i have had some issues with a bad odor. I have never had this happen and im getting really worried. I feel like everyone can smell me and that im doing something wrong. I wash everyday but it seems to get stronger of a smell day after day. I seem to smell it through my clothes and im not understanding what is going on. Im afraid to ****** only having had sex with one person i feel like there should be something else i could do to make it go away. Im not having any pains, no itching, nothing but the smell.  If it is an infection shouldnt there be pain of some sort? Please help me out. Thank you.....

If the smell is fishy, its probably bacterial vaginosis which is very common and easily treated, but you will need a prescription. This does not sound like classic yeast. Either way, you need to be seen! The doctor will put some of the discharge on a slide and look at it under a microscope to know which infection it is. They may also do cultures. Even if you only have BV, you should still get checked for STDs to be on the safe side.

Hi, Sjam, sorry to say it, but I think you might have a sexually transmitted disease. You should go to the doctor as soon as possible, especially if the smell is fishy and you have a yellow or green discharge, and/or if it hurts when you urinate. If you do have a STD you doctor will give you antibiotics, and your partner will need to be treated too before the two of you resume sexual activity.

obviously we aren't doctors but it does sound like could be an infection, having a lot of sex can actually cause infections like yeast infections and all that best thing to do is like it was already said but check in with a doctor they do make over the counter medicine for yeast infections at wal mart and that if u decide to try that i was told (by a doctor) to do the 3 day and make sure its taken care of.. but usually with yeast infections it starts to kinda get sore down there and the discharge is milky/chunky i noticed lil itchy sometimes but not usually..

Good luck dear and don't hestitate to ask any questions you need i get on often ;)

It sounds like BV ( Bacterial Vaginosis). You will need medication from a doctor to get rid of it.

You could very well have an yeast infection, it is quite common. It gives off a strong odor, usually itching, not always, no pain unless raw. That's what it sounds like. You should go to your doctor and be checked because you have to be treated. It won't go away on it's own. You could have a VD possibly also which could cause odor, you need to see a doctor but it sounds like a yeast infection.  You should always urinate after having intercourse and clean up well afterwards. Deush regularly after periods. Hope this helps.
