Nipple Pain...

For about a week now, I have been having some constant & very annoyingly painful nipple pain. I have no idea what this may be caused from. Nothing in my diet has changed & I do not believe I am pregnant. There was no trauma to my breasts recently either. My breasts themselves don't feel sore or tender. They don't hurt when I touch then or apply pressure. It is just my nipples! Even wearing a bra is killing me. My fiance says they look a little different also. It looks like white dots on my nipple. I would venture to guess maybe this is where breast milk comes from when lactating...? My areolas have not changed color or darkened any either. I am just so confused as to why I am having this pain! I would like to find out why & how to take care of it... Any ideas? :(

Where are you in your menstrual cycle?  You might be pregnant.  If you are around the time you would start your period, I would take an hpt.
