No bleeding after MTP
Dear Doctor,
My wife period date 24 June 2013 but till 29 June. 2013 monthly period did not come. On 29 June. 2013 she took MTP Cipla medicine 1 tab mtpill (mifepristone) After 24 hrs she take 2 tab misoprostol. but she did not start bleeding. Sir please tell me either this medicine is on working or not. or have to take 2 misoprostol.

First of all this medicine is not safe if there is no pregnancy. Did your wife check her pregnancy status before taking these drugs? Since there was no bleeding, I suggest your wife to get a serum HCG test and an ultrasound uterus done to check the status of pregnancy. If there is any pregnancy then in view of medical termination failure, your wife may need a repeat MTP, D+C or a suction evacuation.
