No menstral cycle

My cycle hadn't came on since January 19. Was diagnosed with PCOS, could this be why? Any advice on how to help with this?

If you have some weight to lose, losing it can oftentimes normalize the menstrual cycle and resolve the insulin resistance that is the hallmark of PCOS. Best of luck to you!

Hi there.  Yes, absolutely.  PCOS patients have longer than usual cycles.  Their hormones are wonky and this creates ovulation issues and thus, longer cycles.  If you are treating the PCOS, you need to talk to your doctor.  There are treatments that they use although PCOS is a lifelong condition.  I would make a follow up appointment with your doctor the diagnosed the PCOS and discuss what would be best for you in terms of treatment.  good luck
