No period--had tubal done

I had a tubal done about 3 years ago my period since then would come normal no problems and there has been no changes or stressors in my life at this point. I my friend (Period) visited me on April 3 of 2006 and I have not yet seen my friend as of yet.  We are now ending May out and still no signs friend should have been here

I took home test but it prove to be a false negative so I went to the doctor and he took a blood test and informed me that it still may be early--that test came back negative so he called me back in to the office and realized that I have to wait until June to take a test because I have not see my period in May--I feel very tired my stomach is really stretch and my stretch marks are not wrinkled up anymore--I am going to take a vaginal sono tomorrow--it is possible that I can be pregnant after three years--or it there any other underlying problems that can occur with tubals--but what I dont understand is why all this time and no problems or complications--I feel like I am pregnant but somewhat in denial--if I am this will be a blessing at no cost but it is really confusing

I feel emotionally strained and drained, gotten real lazy, I notice that I have gotten snappy at the kids at times and others, I am tired alot more and sleeping more, get really tired when I have to walk alot and I feel all the extra weight around my back --i just feel really pregnant.

please anyone with any suggestions all are welcomed thanks so much

I don't know if anyone has had this problem but i had a clamp put on just the right tube not the left because i had the left removed due to a cyst. anyways my last baby was 2 years ago and i have been getting realy wired periods they will come and i'll bleed very heavy ( like gushes of water) for 7 days then stop then start back up. sience  i had the clamp put on i have bad pain just on my right side. After my periods i will get a brown like mudd discharge with an outer witch will turn into a very wattery discharge (bacterrial infection)  this has been going on for 2 years, no STD ever, been checked. the doctors dont know why this is happening to me. i have not had an x-ray to see if the clamp is still on or not. i just dont understand why i keep getting these infections after my period. If it was my choice i would have the clamp taken out but i don't know if medicaid would pay for it. now my doctor says that he might need to put an IUD in me even though i have the clamp in there he says it will help with the bleeding. i dont know what to do  but i do know sience i had the clamp in everything has fallen apart in me. if there is anyone out there w/ the same symtoms please give me some advice.

I had a tubal ligation done 2 1/2 years ago and I'm 6 1/2 months pregnate with my fourth.  I went to doctor because I was experiencing pregnacy symtoms but at the time that never crossed my mind.  Just found out last week from an xray that a clamp came off and that's how I got pregnate.  Lots of emotions but I'm sure once you know for sure it will make it easier to deal with or have a plan to go by.

It depends on what type of tubal ligation procedure you had
done.  If your tubes were tied, they could have come untied.
If your tubes were cut or burned, they could have grown back.
Has your period started yet?  Did you get a pregnancy blood
test done?  It is more accurate than a urine test.  Good luck!

*patiently*

If your last period was on April 3rd, you were roughly DUE for one the BEGINNING of May.  It is now the END of May, so your period is 3+ weeks late.

In the beginning of June, you will be one month late.

A woman menstruates approximately every 26-30 days, from the START of one period, to the START of another.  Of course this can vary from woman to woman, but these are the averages.

Am I missing something here, anyone?  I am tired today, so maybe I'm being dense and missing something very obvious.  But you say you had a period April 3rd.  It is now almost June.  You are VERY late for a period.

Regardless, the chances of a pregnancy after a tubal are slim, but not impossible.  See your doctor.

I think you misunderstood the last time I seen my period was on April 3rd.  We are now in May and I have not seen my period at all for May

If you haven't had a period since April 3rd, a pregnancy test done now should show positive.  And the blood test was negative too.  If your tummy is swelling as much you say, if it's from a pregnancy, you would be certainly far enough along for a test to be positive, especially a blood test.

Periods can be late or skipped for all sorts of reasons.  The failure rate for a tubal ligation is about 1 in 150, roughly.  So it isn't impossible but it is  very unlikely you are pregnant.
It's good you are getting an ultrasound.  Hopefully things will get figured out.
