Thanks everyone for yalls in put. I'm 18 and I haven't had my period in the last 4 months...I've been to see my obgyn and she can't figure out what is wrong with me. I have all of the pregnancy symptoms & I feel pregnant but I have taken 4 home pregnancy test & 1 pregnancy test from the doctor. I didn't start my period until I was 15 & it has always been very irregular. My fiancee and I just started trying to conceive but I haven't been to the doctor again yet but I want to know if yall know a good pill to help get pregnant...please keep me posted about any information that any of yall come upon.

I'm only 14 and my period is usually irregular. It isually skips about a month or 2. But it's been about 4 or 5 months now. I'm a little scared. I got a blood test and it said i wasn't pregnant. I don't know what to do now. Can somebody help me?

I'm 42 yo n my period has been regular since it began at age 12. I had a mild to moderate flow dat lasted for three days. For the past year or so my period has gone months without a visit n then it'll come n last for eight or nine days flow heavier than I'm use to. Doc gave me some pills to take to make it come but I won't take them. I think it's early menopause but he says it's not. Smh. Ijdk.

I am so relieved I am not the only person with the problem.
I haven't had a period since October, and it's FEB now. I have sex in Dec. But was tested at the clinic and am not pregnant.
I was told that it was probably stress or something, but it felt yucky. I hate not feeling regular.
So I'm glad I read about this medicine people have been prescribed.
I need to go talk to my doctor ASAP.

Hey My Name Is Maggie I'm 20 and my period have not come for 8 months , I went to the docs for this before and they told me it wasn't normal and gave me some pills to take for 10 days and my period came and then stopped again And I was on birth control for a while than I stopped takin it and since than my period stopped comin. The thing that bothers me is that everytime I have sex I bleed :( Idk what's wrong with my body . Ohh and a friend recommended that I take iron pills but I'm not sure if I should because I don't know if I'm anemic or not

Hi i am 35 years old stopped taking my pill 2 months ago which i was on for 8 years, i had my last period in dec 11 its is now march 2012 and still no period i have done test and all say i am not pregnant, i went to the doc and they did a test aswell but still the same result. I am feeling tired, sore nipples and feeling sick we are trying to have a baby but i am scared not having a period will stop me from being able to do so.

my name is helena i going through something similar i missed my period for now almost 3 months im 23 years old pregnancy test was negative, blood work normal besides my follicle stimulating hormone is really high as if i was goin thru menopause but the doctor ruled that out because my other hormonal levels are normal, im having cramps as if its goin to come and it dosent had an ultrasound and that was normal dont know what else to think, i know that you couldd have problems with your pituitary gland which is located in the base or your brain and it controls your reproductive organs, and its possible to have a tumor which is keeping it from doing its job.......i dnt know.........just praying its nothing detrimentall

hey guys, ive read all the comments and im now scared! i havent had a period since december - but have not really paid attention because ive been busy with my last year at uni (i know its no excuse - but i really dont know where the last couple months have dissappeared to). i am not pregnant, nor sexually active - this has happened before but has only ever lasted 2 months due to stress. i have an appointment with my doctor on monday, and after reading these comments, i feel like i have to prepare for the worst. i am not familiar with any of the pills or medication mentioned in this forum, so could someone let me know if they have suffered any side affects as a result of taking them. this has never happened to me before, and with my final assignments nearing deadline at uni, i have lost all concentration. Please Help!!!

I'm 23 years old from Canada    haven't got  mine  for 3 months. an yes this happen to me before. Not prego check 4 times. I haven't gotten mine period for 8 months before. An now for 3 months.
I hate having it. But now i want it,  so i know everything  going  good. I'm going to see a Doc this Friday  to get some birth  control. the last time I took it. when i miss  my period for 8 months  took the pill for  10 days  an it came back.
Heavy lots  of craps for me.....  that don't really bother me.  I just  want to know I'm fine  bc this is a pain in my *** knowing something  not working right in my body.. I will up date  when i know more whats going on  Friday

i am 25 years old some of u need to be check for polysistic ovarian syndrem that is what i found out after years of being told its normal when i ovulate instead of having a period my eggs turn into syst this can cause u not to have ur period weight gain embalance in ur hormones facial hair pimples things like that i was reading some of this i am going back to the obgyn next weak i have not had a period now for 3 years but a couple days ago i went to the bath room and had discharged when i wiped there was clot that was dark and smelled now i have been spotting for 3 days now little cramping have never done this before so its really scaring me cause of the meds that i am on for other reason if anyone knows about the discharge thing please let me know but really get checked out for this syndam

YESS thats what im going through almost exactly except i also have visible veins and montgomerys tubercules. and my feet and legs get sore easily for the first time in my life. I've taken 4 urine tests and got one blood test done and they all say i'm not pregnant but i feel really pregnant and its freaking me out!

I haven't had my period in about 6 months and I've gained probably 15 pounds since then, I took 2 home pregnancy tests, both negative, I'm scared, I don't really have anyone I can go to (parents or grandparents) I would probably get in trouble, I don't think I'm pregnant and wouldn't I have more signs then weight gain and missed period? My right nipple did have Alittle clear sticky discharge earlier today, I'm worried something else could be wrong, I don't know what and I can't really go to my parents about it, I don't know how to tell them with out giving up my "secret" please please please help!!

hiya i really need help i havenot had a period in 5 month my stomach is oval and i can hear a heartbeat my doctors have told me im not pregnant and that its a blood vessel in my stomach my boobs are sore and i can sometimes feel my stomach move i have had a wee sample that came back negative and two bloods that came back negative i had an ultrasound and they said i aint pregnant but when i went for an ultrasound before that me and my partner defo saw a baby on my left side it is possible that im pregnant and the baby is growing outside my womb please help

My name is Meaghan and I'm 19. For at least a couple years now my period has been irregular. But it wasn't always like that since I started at about age 13 or 14, my period has been on time. My last period was probably 3 or 4 months ago, unfortunately I haven't been keeping track- been so busy with school up until May. I wasn't too worried about it at first considering I'd still get it eventually, which is why I never mentioned it to my Doctor, plus I thought I was just ... Different.(I started mine just yesterday). I'm perfectly healthy otherwise, never had sex, every time I've had a physical since I noticed something was wrong my blood work turned out all right and same with urine samples. I'm starting to worry though that there might be something wrong!!! I'll see if my period lasts 7 days. And if not than I'm finally going to tell my Doctor, this is ridiculous. But up until than does anyone have any advice?!

hey i'm 19 and i have similar issues...now it's been 3 months and no sign of periods yet!! every year i face this issue where i go 4-5 months without periods! doctors say it's okay and prescribe me a medicine to bring it down every time i visit!
i'm confused whether to go to the doctor now that its been 3 months without periods or wait for them to happen naturally!!

hey im about to turn 18 and havent had my period since march of 2012. back in august 2011 I had an ovarian cyst and had surgury and got it removed but at the same time they took my entire left ovary and tube out cause it was dead. I had my period till march then stopped and havent had it since. I am scarred that I am pregnant but have no symptoms other then missing my period and a little lower back pain. its been 4 months since i had sex plz help me my mother would freak out if i was pregnant and i am so scarred to find out for sure. :"(

I am 22 and I haven't had a period since april and it is now almost August. I'm very nervous. I already have irregular periods but nothing that lasts 4 months. Took several PT and came back negative. Don't know what to do and my mom is freaking out because I just told her to day.

Hi, I just like most of you have missed my period for several months. I'm 27yrs old and have always had a regular cycle. I had a baby 23 months ago and still continued to have a normal cycle after birth...that was until June of this year (2012). It's stressful not knowing what's going on with you. My husband and I have been trying for some time to have another baby but have been unsuccessful so far.lol (yes, another one!) I visited the doctor and he told me that I had something called Polycystic Ovary Syndrome. This syndrome produces symptoms in women of reproductive age (12-45) The principal features are an-ovulation resulting in irregular menstruation, ovulation infertility etc.
I'm not saying that this is the reason you all have missed your period but you can still look it up or ask your doctor about it since it's symptoms resembles ours.

Hi everyone, I am 17 and Married I got married March 22nd and yes we do have sex a'lot And I have never had irregular periods there always on time. But I haven't had a period in 4 month's April 24th-August 24th and it's already September 5th so it's going on 5 month's I AM SCARED TO DEATH i have took lot's of pregnancy test's all of them negative, and even went to the hospital for blood test still negative please someone help me : ( and yes me and my husband are trying to have kid's???? PLEAS HELP ME.

i am in basically the same boat as everyone else...I am 19 and married as of aug.24th. i first got my period when i was like 14. I never had a regular period until age 18 when i went on the patch and it forced my body to have regular periods, which were kinda long and painful.. I stopped doing the patch end of april my last period ended may 5th of this year and still no period. i have taken countless pregnancy tests....not pregnant!!! it is scary and no matter how much i hate my period... i would still like to know that i am a woman....

I havent come on my period in four months now and ive had several pregnancy tests to see whether im pregnant or not. Im really scared and im wondering whats wrong with me. btw, im 18. need help and advice. ive been to the doctors but they say this is regual at my age to have irregular periods but ive never had an irregular period before. However, my nipples are tender and i get this feeling im going to come on at the same time im supposed to but i never do. My doctor told me not to worry until 6 months, i just hope its nothing serious.

I am so glad to know I am not alone yet so sad that so many women have this concern and so many doctors do not know what to tell us. I have been having this issue for a while now and it was going ok until July of this year. After my period in July which came very heavy, I have just stopped menstrating. After seeing the doctor before and getting the "you must be pregnant and lying to me look" or "this is normal you are just experiencing changes in your body" I have decided to seek a specialist help in a few weeks. I just turned 23 years old a few weeks ago, graduated university and started a stressful but good job. I do not want to find that man of my dreams and then realize that I cannot conceive a child. I appreciate the talks in this group and will pray we are all in good health soon.

Hi everyone i thought i would share my story i went 5months without having a period.My last cycle was July 21,2012 its now December 21,2012.I have taken at least 7 to 8 test all negative. The past month ive been having lots of symtoms (symptoms) so i decided to test again 2days ago and it was positive. I got it confirmed that same day by urine and ultrasound at a local clinic. Funny thing is im only 7wks hahaha i ovulated without having a period.Has this happened to anyone else? Ps im very excited baby dust to those ttc......

A doctor would know you weren't lying about being a virgin and can confirm this to your mother, you need to go bc you don't want negative effects in the future bc you were scared. My niece had this problem and was VERY serious and had she not fixed it would of been life threatening consequences, please go to the doctor your mother will understand and would rather you know trust me that's what moms are for, I promise she will be more understanding than you know.

I need help as well! I am 28 yr old, I have always been between 102-105 lbs and had my period monthly without issue. Then in Nov of 2011 they just stopped! After that I began to gain lots of weight and nothing stopped it! 13 months later I am 30lbs heavier and STILL NO PERIOD! I was in hospital in march but they didn't say anything was wrong other than some cysts. However march was quite some time ago! I REALLY NEED to lose this weight and figure out what's wrong with no period but I am scared and also no health insurance right now! Idk what to do! Does anyone window if the weight will go away once the issue is resolved or I'm a doomed? I can only wear pajamas now! Lol! It's not funny but I'm serious! I just need some assurance that once whatever is wrong is fixed the weight will go away ! I know I might have to work at it but with health issues now nothing i do helps it! I've never been one who needed to watch my weight or anything and actually needed to GAIN some! But NOT that much! Someone please help!

I haven't had a period for 4 months and it's getting me down :-( I really thought I was just pregnant but I guess not. My doctor doesn't understand and reckons me being underweight is the issue but I eat all the time and never had a problem with my periods before

I'm practically doing the same exact things as Kaysid6 right now, only it's been about 3 months of no period, and I've always been underweight (102-105) and I'm almost 110 now. I'm afraid people will think I'm anorexic (Which, I'm seriously not.) if I try explaining that I don't like that I'm gaining weight because of this missing period stuff. (When I told a trusted friend, she told me congrats that I'm gaining.. no one understands that I feel like I'm gaining in a bad way.) It's scaring me with the weight gain together with the constant bloated look and feel, and sometimes feeling extremely nauseous out of nowhere, plus no period in sight. I hate it so much. I started to work out, thinking I just gained from maybe metabolism slowing up, but nothing has changed. I'm not sexually active, never have been. I'm at my limit. I don't know what to do, I don't want to go to a doctor and be told that I'm fine when I know something is up.

thats my problem. :( I start a light pink discharge, then nothing. I want another baby. my son is 7. i dont want to wait any longer. but i will bleed for three months then nothing for three or four months. I had a fase positive about two weeks ago. Then 5 more tests after was all negative. I only know of the syst on my right ovary. It was the size of a golf ball. (I couldnt stop bleeding at that time.) I even have pregnancy symptoms. Smells bother me, morning sickness, mood swings. But i also get the sharp pains that only last a few seconds, then nothing. Im miserable. Im now waiting on my thyroid results from the er. (I couldnt stay awake for nothing.) I saw that your missed periods can be caused by that. I wish you all luck, and hope for the best for you!!

OMG I'm 31 and I have the same problem. I have no medical health insurance right now. I hope someone can tell me what's wrong. Either I have early menopause (which is supposedly unlikely for someone my age) but it could also be a thyroid problem right? My weight is gaining like crazy - I know im eatting more lately but does my Metabolic rate has to do with this weight gain too? if supposedly my thyroid has problem that is... By the way I am not sexually active, so unless I had a freak accident. I shouldn't be pregnant. But I am scared that I did have a freak accident?? Maybe I should get a pregnancy test?

I am 23 year old married woman. from sep 6th 2012 i used to have sex and until dec 2012 i used to have periods regularly. I never was on pill. It happened to me this year that jan,feb i did get my period and pregnency test was negative. Then i consulted obgyn and she gave me provera to take for 5 days. Then on march 2 i had my period it was normal for three days no pain.
Then now its april 18th i still din get period and am not pregnant.

Please suggest me

i'm 18 years of age, first got my period at the age of 11. My period is very irregular. Normally it comes every second month, sometimes 1 month and other times it takes 3. But this time round, it took 4 and a bit months. I have no idea what is going on, it scares me, im never prepared for it either. I don't have a boyfriend, so I know I am definitely not pregnant. does anyone know what I can do to make it more regular?

I am having the same situation,it's been about 4 months now and here I am still waiting for it to come..I have had an ultra sound done to see if I had anything wrong with me and nothing is..I took about 5 home pregnancy tests in the last 4 months and they all said no I don't think I have had a blood test done though..about 6 months ago I suddenly stopped taking my birth control but even after that I was getting my periods normally..every now and then I will get that brownish color but no blood and then it will stop..I am only 26 yrs old so I don't know..I had a baby my third child 10 months ago but I was getting my periods regularly like I said..I feel so blooded my ankles swell up I feel I have gained so much weight without me getting my period..if anyone knows what could be the issue plaza let me know..I have an apt with my on in june
