Normal Period, Watery Discharge Between.

For the past few months I've had a normal period.  However, the week after my period and the couple days prior to my next period(usually Thurs-Fri) I've been having a watery, brown discharge.  Enough that I need to wear a panty-liner.  And this past month the discharge occurred every Thurs/Fri between periods.  I feel normal - no itching/cramping or anything like that.  I took a home pregnancy test and don't believe I'm pregnant.  I've been on the pill (Yasmin) for ~5 years.  I have an appointment w/ my doctor in a few weeks, but wondered if anyone had any ideas of what it could be...it's starting to really worry me.

Are you missing pills?  Are you taking the pill around the same time everyday?  If you miss any pills or are not on schedule w/taking the pill at least 23 - 25 hours apart, it can cause some spotting.  Otherwise, brownish discharge does require a check up.

Then go see your obgyn.  Brownish or bloody discharge can be many things.  (It can be a sign of an std.)
