I have had a nightmare going on for the past two months. My symptoms first began when I felt like I had to pee all the time. I thought for sure it was a bladder infection. When I started to feel. Burning feeling that went on even when I didn't pee. I went to see a doctor. The doctor told me I did not have a bladder infection and tested me for chylamdia and gonorrhea. The tests came back negative and I ended up going to the er because the pain was so bad. I was then told I had a yeast infection and got diflucan. This helped but did not work and I went to see a gyno. She also said it was an external yeast infection. She did a Pap smear and gave me a cream. The results from my Pap smear were all normal besides coming back positive for BV. I went to see another gyno because there had been so issues with mine and she prescribed me a one time use of clindamycin. When my symptoms continued I went back and they did a swab to test for other bacteria. It came back positive for urethaplasma and I received 100mg doxycline. It has been a week of taking it and my symptoms still continue. My vaginal area is very red, I seem to have white discharge around my uretha, I have a mild burning/soreness feeling which is the most frustrating of all of it. Is this normal symptoms for urethaplasma?! I'm starting to feel so hopeless.
