Nova sure ablation complications

I think I am having a complication to the procedure done March 2010 - it feels like i have been hit with a 2x4 across my lower abdomin and have had a light period for about 10 days now - yet the last 3 days have been very clear discharge with tinge of pink/brown. Anybody else have symptoms like this? What did you end up doing?

I completely understand.  While I had my Novasure ablation in Dec 2008 with ZERO period after, I have had moderate to severe on-going pain for the past year or so.  Recently, I was diagnosed with a "nodule" in my uterus and it's suspected that I have substantial scarring.  I have had 2 c-sections and 2 laprascopies/hysterscopies (they perform a D & C when they do those as well while you are under general anesthesia).  I had no scar tissue INSIDE my uterus until the ablation procedure, which was a "tag on" procedure since they were going in anyway to remove adhesions on the outside of my uterus.  :(  I have to make a decision re hysterectomy (forced menopause is out of the question, I get migraines and my mom was diagnosed w/breast cancer last year so I am not a good candidate for any hormone therapy).  I have an appt for a 2nd opinion next week and am wondering what she will say...Asherman's Syndrome can be caused by any surgical stress to the uterus and fill it with scar tissue which can decrease periods and cause infertility (I'm 38 and have 3 healthy kids so infertility is not an issue for me) - I really think that there is not enough information connecting the dots when it comes to surgical procedures involving the uterus and the future health of that organ.  It appears that EVERY surgical intervention almost always (or in more cases than are actually reported by the medical community) has another and worse consequence.  We need to educate ourselves more to prevent these things from happening and make sure our doctors/surgeons know exactly what will lie in our future when we have these procedures done.  I wish you the best of luck...go see your doctor soon and if you don't like what you hear, go do another, and another if that's what it takes.  It's YOUR body.
