Novasure dryness?

I had novasure done last Oct 5th 2012 for heavy non stop bleeding, caused by hormonal surge, I am 47,On the good side I havent had any period no discharge nothing since then and all pains and recovery was over by 8weeks post op. What am not happy with is the sex life, previously I had maybe one day of dryness a month, depending on cycle, but now its like everytime we do anything I go dry, I had needing and using lubes and wondered is this from the surgery or is it like the stopping of periods has thrown me into full menopause ? Before surgery my cycle was spot on every 26days and as I said 1 day a month I might have dryness, this is ruining my sex life, for me, my hubby still gets his fun but its not same for me now. Please advise, and also is anyone aware of an oil base lube in Australia? I used a tester from the UK it was fantastic, far superior to water base

I have a follow up with the gyneacologist to check a cyst seen on ovary and will definatly ask about this but I now found out the tablets I am on for acid reflux may actually be the cause of the dryness and nothing to do with the novasure, and it hasnt caused menopause the periods could return 12months or more after novasure was done, I dont have any other menopause symptoms right now.I am using calendula daily and it seems to help stop dryness so far but tablkets for acid cause low libido so  bad luck for now
thanks for comment

MEDICAL PROFESSIONAL
Hello,
There is a high possibility of the symptoms which you are going through to be attributed to the onset of menopause.

The interval between the periods tends to lengthen gradually and then they cease to exist. This is usually associated with dryness of the vagina, painful sexual intercourse, hot flashes. You should consult a gynecologist and get it evaluated. If it is due to premenopause then you may need hormonal replacement therapy.

It is very difficult to precisely confirm a diagnosis without examination and investigations and the answer is based on the medical information provided. For exact diagnosis, you are requested to consult your doctor. I sincerely hope that helps. Take care and please do keep me posted on how you are doing.
