Nuva Ring

Okay so just I just started having intercourse in February. From the first time I knew it was going to happen a few times. So I just made the decision to get on birth control. I chose the Nuva Ring because it seemed to be the most discreet form of birth control. I am the oldest of two other girls in my family, and my mother is pretty judgemental of pre marital sex (which I would expect of a mother) but I am in college, taking care of life and I just felt that this was what I wanted. But besides the background, what do you think of the Nuva Ring?

I just started the NuvaRing myself about a month ago.  I did notice a bit of moodiness in the begining, but I am going to be starting my second month on Wednesday and so far, I love it.  I had some diffuculty remembering to take the pill on time and this is just great!!  I also have my first period while on it and it's not bad at all.  It's not as heavy and painful as they used to be.  I don't really notice it during sex, but I have been taking it out because of other issues that I have, but if it weren't for that, I wouldn't even bother.  My boyfriend never feels it at all.  I did notive a few headaches also in the begining, but since the first week, nothing.  So regardless all the bad comments I have read about the NuvaRing before I started it, I love it.
Good Luck!

I have been on the Nuva Ring since Sept. 2005 and I have highly recommended it. I switched from the pill because of adverse side effects that I was having even, on the so called Lo dose ones. I not longer suffer from any side effects. And I love that you don't have to worry about for three weeks until it is time to remove it. If you go to their website I found that the Nuva Time Program for the computer really helps you know exactly when to insert & remove. Also they will send you a small timer reminder for your purse if you sign up to the club. I hope that it works out for you as well as it does for me.
