I started the nuvaring after my free week of the patch on the same day on Thurs, July 16th. Left it in for 3 weeks and one day. Off on Friday August 7th. I am not sure when do you start to count as to how long your period came after removing nuvaring but I will start from the day I took it off. I got my period on the 11th, so 5 days after taking it out August 11th and had it until the 14th, that day I had sexual intercourse. I should have put my ring in on thur Aug. 13th but put it in on Sat August 15th. during the week from the 15th to the 22nd I had intercourse on the 15th,20th and 22nd. I kept the ring in for three weeks and a day, again, so took it off for my free week on Sunday Sept 6th. got my period on the day I put the nuva ring back in, late evening on Sat Sept 12th. This period was light and I only needed one tampon, not even. Which lasted til the early afternoon on sun, Sept 13th but that was spotting. I took a pg test just to confirm I was pg because look like it. which was on the 29th and came negative. Just wondering if this type of period is normal and If I happen not to get my period this coming week should I be concerned of pregnancy?
