I always had super heavy painful periods and clots until my 30s. I also have a history of fibroids. If your doctor does not think that this is a result of the miscarriage creating some sort of issue with the lining of your uterus then I would ask her opinion about the possibility of a fibroid. An ultrasound usually is a very easy way to diagnose them. I had 2 large ones in my history. After the second one was removed my periods became lighter. It might be worth checking out just to be sure. Good luck and maybe it is simply some sort of hormone fluctuation that will correct itself with time. Take care.
Thanks ladies, i'll ask about it! This is just super frustrating!!
I have endometriosis and am pregnant with #6. They have removed it a couple times. U should get checked
Did they do an u/s or anything or did he say that based on the fact that you already have children? You should try the nuvaring that the dr prescribed because it's different type of b/c then the pill. My OB thought I had endometriosis for a while too because I had similar symptoms and could not take the pill because then I was ALWAYS on my period(no fun). She did an u/s and found nothing, and prescribed me the patch. I actually had no issues on the patch, but silly me just stopped putting it on and now I am 20weeks!
They did think a while back that I had it because midcycle every so often I get lower abdominal pain so bad that I could cry but the obgyn said since I have no problem with fertility that he highly doubts that's what it is.
Sounds like endometriosis.
