OK, I was hoping I was preganant after two months of no period except with the occasional bloodyBloody or tarry stools wipe butlast night I began to bleed and bleed heavy. I use up like a tampon almost every two hours and I have very very bad cramping not to meantion when I took out the tampon a few times I had clotsBlood clots some as long as the tampon itself. WHAT COULD BE WRONG??!?!?!?
I just let you a post on your other question. Maybe you are having a miscarriage. Please see a doctor as soon as possible. This happens alot so it's not unusual. I've heard that up to 50% of pregancies end in miscarriage. Most womenWomen's way will have at least one in their lifetime. Good luck honey! You need to take care of YOU!!!!!
Im not very sure as to what could be wrong, but if I was you I would go to the doctor immediately because usually when you miss your period you are pregnant...expecially if it was for two months..
Now what if I am having one? I've already taken off this week b/c my son was just diagnosed with lyme disease if I take off anymore this week I will be fired....what happens if I don't go to the doctors???
Kimmie, you must go to a doctor and get checked out. Go after work if you must to the ER. If you did indeed have a miscarriage they will need to check you over and possibly do a DNC to make sure you don't have any fetal tissue left inside of you. You could hemourage (sp?), get an infection and get very, very sick.Maybe it is nothing, but it's better to be safe and get seen. Let us know how you're doing, ok? Take care.
If you don't go to the dr, it can lead to infection. Can you go to the dr's after work? You are young enough, if there is a Planned Parenthood nearby, they could probably help you. What they are going to do is clean out the uterus, you shouldn't be out of work for more than a day I would think.
I know what you mean about work however if they fire you over a legitimate medical issue, you could sue them. Just document everything that is said, time, place, etc. If this does happen, start with the Employment Security Office or Unemployment Office (I don't know where you live so it may be different from my state.) You may need to take a short term disability or even use all your sick days, but hey you got to do what you got to do.
Can you talk to your manager and have a heart to heart abt what you've been going through? I've had to do that at certain times and found my managers really understanding. I am wishing you good luck and sending you my prayers!! Please post and let us know how you are doing!!!! Hugs, may
I wouldn't freak out just yet. I think the "time to see a doctor" key is soaking a super tampon every hour or less, or something like that. I suppose you could be having a miscarriage, but you could also have gone a month without ovulating. Or whatever.
If you want to see a doctor, you can always go to one of those walk-in clinics; they're usually open through the evening and on weekends. I would strongly advise you to NOT go to the hospital, unless you're seriously having an emergency, i.e. passing out, excruciating pain, etc. It'll take you forever to get in, and I think they'll only perform basic emergency care; if you need anything more, you'll still have to make an appt anyway...
