Orgasm problems??

Ever since I've started 'doing the do' with myself, I've had "problems" reaching an orgasm. I never get them "on time", and normally get them days, hours, or minutes after I finish and give up when i still don't feel anything. The last session I had was three days ago, and just had one a few minutes ago. I'm a freshman student in high school, haven't had sex before in my life, and don't have any toys to help me when masturbating. I'm not even SURE if they are orgasms and just my body saying "you're getting your period soon, let me clean everything out so theres room for the guest :)". I'm afraid to ask my doctor (especially with my mom in the room), afraid to ask friend or family privately, and scared there's something wrong with my body. Is this normal since I'm still a teen and my body is acting weird, or is this something I should see my doctor about?
