I am currently using OrthoEvra as well and I understand that as long as the patch in ON then the hormones are released into your system. If you have been using it for two months you SHOULD have a harded time getting pregnant even if you decide that u want to get pregnant, hope this helps.

It is not true that using it for just two months will give you a harder time getting preganant. Anyway, there are directions in the packet that tell you what exactly you should do when one falls off. ALWAYS read all the directions that come with a medication and keep it for reference.

I was on OrthoEvra, and found it to fall off often.
I have now switched to the NuvaRing and love it. It is the same idea as the patch but it is a ring you insert inside you for 3 weeks then take it out for the 4th. It has been amazing for me.

I've been on the Ortho Evra patch for almost 2 years now. I found in the beginning that the patch would peel off and stick to my shirts.. and than just peel off farther. The trick is.. is to put it on your upper body(doesn't move as much) so than the patch cannot become lose.

This trick worked for me.. and has continued to work : )

Hope it helps!!

P.S. Put the patch up by your shoulder blades were there is less movement.
