Outrageous Menstrual Cycle
I am on my menstrual cycle. It started yesterday with brown dirty look and now my clots are like size of soft balls and the flow is like water. I have been having to change my pad every hour and I do not know what is going on. I have had 2 live births and one miscarriage. I also had a tubal ligation 9 years ago. Can you give me some suggestions of what may be happening?

Hi there,

Perhaps you should make an appointment with your family doctor.
This sounds concerning. I would tell your doctor the symptoms you're
experiencing and see what she or he advises you. Good luck. Eve

Hello,
You seem to be having the symptoms of metrorrhagia(heavy periods). Various factors causing it are endometriosis, ectopic pregnancy, hormone imbalance, endometrial hyperplasia, polyps, use of IUD’s and depo shots, sexually transmitted diseases,PCOS and benign and malignant pathologies of the uterus.

Get an evaluation done from a gynecologist to confirm the diagnosis.
It is very difficult to precisely confirm a diagnosis without examination and investigations and the answer is based on the medical information provided. For exact diagnosis, you are requested to consult your doctor. I sincerely hope that helps. Take care and please do keep me posted on how you are doing.
