Ovarian Cist?

I have been having pain in the bottom/middle of my stomach only on the left side, at times it moves to my back... I have a full feeling in my stomach almost like I have been filled full of air or something.  It is a very odd sensation.  I have not had a period in years.  I was on birth control for awhile to regulate my period however my ins will no longer pay for it.  The pain in my side is getting much worse, and daily. At times I feel an odd sensation that almost feels like a muscle jerking in my left side.  Could this be ovarian cists?  I have hair growth on my back, neck and face as well.  This has been a problem since I was aroung the age of 11.  Any help would be appreciated.

It could be polycystic ovarian syndrome.  A really good friend of mine has it.  Do you mind if I ask how old you are?  Do you have any children or problems with fertility?  It is basically cysts on the ovaries but it is usually associated with excessive hair growth, being overweight and often causes fertility problems.  A blood test would show that you are insulin resistant if you had pcos.  It is usually treated with bc pills to help manage the discomfort.

thats what it sounds like to me. have you ever tried taking vitex? it helps regulate your system, but you have to keep taking it for a few months to start working, but trust me, it works. i would go see about the pain, if it is a cyct and its large they might need to remove it.
