Ovarian Cyst

I recently went to my doctor and he thinks I have a ovarian cyst, not cancerous. I have a yellowish clear discharge alot more than normal, my mom thinks its because my PH is off? Well my DR put me on birth control and that should get rid of it.

Ive read on the internet that it hurts a lot more having sex with a cyst, I dont know what size it is. Im a virgin and Ive been w/ my bf a long time, I want to give it up to him. Could this present more problems with my cyst? Thankyou!

Well the discharge smells kind of sour, and is a clear yellowish. It was a pelvic exam, he thinks its a cyst because I was so tender, and uncomfortable.

I'm sure it will be okay. I'm not an expert but I think the discharge is okay, as long as there is no fishy smell to it.

Maybe your ovulating? And about the cyst rupturing dont worry I really dont know.If it does rupture there will still be blood. There always is the first time.Thats why you have to use protection if it does rupture & he ejaculates inside there will be posibility of infection.i had a huge water filled cyst in cervix & the next month after period it was gone....nanis

whether or not you have pain during sex due to a cyst is hard to say....it depends on the size and location.  did you have an ultrasound, or did your dr. find it during a pelvic examination?

Hi.
I had a cycts that ruptured a few years ago during sex. The pain was so bad that i had to go to the er. If i was you i would wait and make sure that its gone first. and always use protection.

I think yes it will hurt.Depending on were your cyst is?The first time is always painful anyways. Are you going to use protection anyways. Not to be nosey, was just wondring since the xtra lubrication will be more confortable. Also many cysts resolve on their own or rupture when peiod comes.Maybe thats why you were put on bc since bc regulates period & thus resolves cyst.Hope this helps...nanis
