Hi, I have experienced exactly the same symptoms that you are. I had pain on my right side, and my complex ovarian cyst was on the left. I never had one stitch of pain on the left side. I eventually had the ovary removed.
I had a endometrioma cyst on my right ovary last summer and it is now back on the same ovary. I thought I had one on my left side this time because I had pain on the left. I was just told by my doctor that it depends on what is is near/touching.
I also have cysts on both ovaries. I've been told that it is common for them appear and rupture and you never know it but I did have a cyst rupture that required emergency room attention. Bloating usually occurs from the fluid that is released from the cyst after rupturing that actually irritated the uterus. It almost makes you feel quezy and the bloating makes you feel as if you are going to burst. That lasted for a good 4-5 days. I can remember experiencing more pain from the rupture itself. It was an intense cramp and I couldn't even stand, sit, or lay without thinking I was obiviously dying. ;-)My doctor thought my appendix had ruptured.
