i am 26 years old. all i can tell you is that on march sixth of this month, i had a laparoscopy to remove a complex ovarian cyst on the right ovary. how i found out was that i had bad abdominal pain and i had to go to E.R and they did an ultrasound. it was a gofball size. my doctor decided to remove it. there are two types of surgeries to remove it. sometimes teh pain is not necessarily on the side where the cyst is. it sounds like your cyst could have gotten a bit bigger than mine. sometimes, the doctor decides to watch the cyst and see if it goes away by itself. its a good thing that they caught it. i am sure now that you have done an ultrasound and a cat scan, your doctor has all the information about your cyst so now she can talk to you and tell you exactly what it is, how big and what to do about it. let me know if you have any other questions.
Ok I am being scheduled for surgery. The doc said my "cyst"/"mass" is a little bit bigger than a golf ball. She also stated that she will more than likely have to take the ovary too. She stated she is going to try to do the laparoscopy surgey unless she sees to much scar tissue when she gets in there and starts looking. So thats all I know guys thanks for all of y'alls support it really means a lot.
