I think it depends also on how early your m/c was. That is, I m/c 3 times recently but very early (only a week post my expected period) so my cycles haven't been that off and I did get a period and ovulate each month after even with these 3 m/cs. I ovulated a little later each month (up to a week later) probably b/c of the m/cs but still it wasn't much longer. There's different advice out there about how long to wait to ttc again, but waiting one month seems reasonable (at least based on the research I read and what some doctors told me) but other doctors say wait longer like 3 months. I guess it depends on how early your m/c was, as if it was later especially in the 2nd trimester then should wait longer in between for things to get back to normal. In my case, my hcg level came down quickly each time and I was more sad waiting ttc again rather than b/c of the m/c so I went ahead and am still trying having waited only one cycle in between. The other thing is that I'm 36 y.o. so I figure there's risks in waiting as well as perhaps small risk in m/c just b/c I didn't wait long enough. Good luck.
It took me 7 weeks to get my AF. It's been over 5 months and my AFs are still irregular.
You should get your period between 4 - 8 weeks after your miscarriage. I had a m/c 9 months ago and my periods are still irregular. Also some say that you should wait until after you have your period to start trying again, as you are at higher risk of another miscarriage. But others say that you should try right after as you are more fertile after m/c. It's your body, your desicion.
