Pain while boyfriend is fingering...need help

by tiakitty, May 24, 2007 12:00AM
My boyfriend and I have been together for 7 months and when he fingers me, it hurts. Sometimes it hurts so bad I want to cry, he stops when I say it hurts. Other times it's slightly uncomfortable. We haven't done anything in that area since January. But when I do things myself I usually do it in the bathtub because being in water makes it easier for me. The last time he fingered me was a few days ago and it didn't hurt bad it was just uncomfortable, considering we haven't done that since January. I was aroused but it still hurt. We have not had sex and don't plan to until we get married. Could that be why it hurts? Because I'm a virgin and tight down there? I need some advice soon please.

I am so proud of you for waiting. That is very special for you and your partner.
I would not think that you are too tight, but he might not be doing it at the right angle or he might just be too rough on you. I mean to the point where you cry, that is not nice. Don't stress, and considering you value waiting for marriage, you probably shouldn't tease him in that way because things advance quickly in the heat of the moment especially in a bath tub. Take some space and stick to kissing and cuddling. You might have to bring your wedding forward! See you Dr if you are still worried.

It shouldn't hurt at all.  You should seek out a gyn that specializes in pelvic pain.  What you are experiencing sounds very similar to vaginismus, or spasming of the vaginal muscles.

Sometimes if your clitoris is stimulated directly in the middle of it, it can hurt. That is where all of the nerve endings are. Try just to the side or top of it, sorry if tmi but it's true.

my boyfriend can NOT get the clit thing down!  i have coached him through it so many times be gentler don't use the tip of your finger use the pad of it not so HARD lol but he just can't get past the "it's a clit the harder i rub the better it feels" mentality.  uy.

Very nice job on waiting, and very respectful...your a smart woman.
If it is uncomfortable, don't do it.  You may not be aroused enough, or he isn't approaching from the right angle.  I personally have NEVER enjoyed it, and have not allowed it since I was in my early 20's.  There are far too many things that feel WAY better than that.  Try doing something else for a while...

could it be that you're not lubricated enough? maybe if you try a little K-Y it would help?

personally i dont like when DH sticks his fingers in, (tmi i kno) maybe i he just pleasures you on the outside on your clit area rather then rumaging around inside there, never felt good to me either,
