Painful cyst in my breast

I am 41 years old and 8 days after my period my left breast started to hurt if I pressed on it. Mostly on the bottom and left side of it.  I had an appointment for a mammogram which came back normal so I went to my physician and she told me that she felt 2 cysts and they can become painful due to hormonal changes. So she has be going to have an ultrasound done this weekend. But now my right breast also hurts but not as much as my left and they both look swollen. Almost like if I was pregnant or something. It's really starting to worry me even though my Dr. Said not to. What can this be?

I would try not to sorry.  Women DO get cysts and they are often harmless.  I had a large, size of like a tangerine, fluid filled cyst that they aspirated (put a needle in and drained).  it was actually an infection.  I started antibiotics and was fine.  But it does feel scary when you feel the cyst.  Try not to worry.  I don't think it sounds like your doctor is and they get paid to worry about us.  So, get your ultrasound and hopefully it resolves quickly. good luck
