Pelvic Pain and scar tenderness an issue

I am 49 and had a partial hysterectomy in December 2010. I thought I had pretty much healed from the surgery; however, my abdominal scar is very tender to the touch all of a sudden. And I am having right side pain----something akin to a muscle spasm, I think. After I lie down or sit for any length of time when I can barely stand up. NSAIDs only work for a wlittle while and then the pain comes back. It almost feels like the worst cramps I experienced prior to the surgery.
