Pelvic pain and belated period

My wife has been feeling pelvic pains (like stabbings) for about two weeks. Plus her period is 10 days late.

We did a home pregnancy test and came negative. Yesterday, we went into emergency room to see what it could be. Pregnancy and urine tests came out negative too.

The pains are still there, on both sides of the low pelvis, plus sometimes under her belly button.

Doctors also made a CBC and apparently everything was alright. However, we noticed on the results that her white blood cells were high (14.5, whereas normal max is 10.8) and lymph were low (19.8, whereas normal min is 20.2)

What could this be?

I just went thru the same thing...took them 2 months to figure out what i had....i had exploritory surgery and found out i have Poly cystic ovary syndrome......look it up and see if she has more of the symptoms.....have her ask her doctor about it. i had really bad pelvic pains on my right side...no signs of cysts, or ne thing...and i skipped my period....could be a possiblity....hope that helps.

I don't know what it could be, but her blood work results aren't really that bad.  Don't get worked up about that alone.  What did the dr.s tell her to do?  Follow up with someone in a couple of days?
