yes, you could be. I always get a yeast infection with antibiotics -- no matter what kind they are. If you have never had one before, you should consult your doctor to be sure that is in fact what it is. If you have had one before, and therefore know what to look for, either call your doctor for a perscription of Difulcan, or use an over the counter treatment (the 3 or 7 day are best). I would however, recommend that you wait to treat the yeast infection until you have completed the course of antibiotics. This will help to ensure the infection is cleared up completely.
If you take an antibiotic, it's a good idea to take
Acidopholus inbetween doses of your antibiotic. Pencillin
can kill good bacteria as well as bad bacteria. If you are
on birth controlControl Control rx pills, pencillin may effect the strength
of the Pill. So once you clear up your yeast infection,
you should use a backup method - i.e. condoms, etc.
