Period about 10 days late, negative pregnancy test, antibiotics?

I have always had more or less regular cycles, ranging from 28-30 days in length. My last period started on May 7th, 39 days ago today. I had sex on May 16th, 24th and 25th but always using both a condom and the withdrawal method. About a week after my period started, I was treated with antibiotics for a UTI. Last week, I was treated with antibiotics again for a tooth extraction. I took a home pregnancy test yesterday and it come out negative, but still no sign of my period. I was wondering if the two rounds of antibiotics might have anything to do with it, because I have not been under stress lately (except for hoping that I am not pregnant) and I haven't lost or gained any weight.. Could someone please help me?

I believe antibiotics can mess up your system. I would give it a few more days, and call the doc. Maybe have a preg test done in their office. You can also call the pharmacist and ask them if the pills they gave you would have an adverse reaction to your period. They are very knowledgable. Best of luck!!!

i am now ten days late in my period, i was due on the 9th i started taking minocin tablets for my acne about 7 days ago would this be delaying my period. I am not on the pill, and having unprotected sex with my boyfriend?

anybody help me on this?
