Dear Flash and Vikki.
I had a miscarriage 2 weeks ago and I was 14 weeks.  When I miscarried I had a sore back and I went from light bleeding to a gush.  A few hours after the bleeding and clotting started I felt a lot of pressure pushed a little and my waters broke and my son along with his placenta came out.
When I saw my son i could see everything.  His hands, feet, eyes and everything else.  When we got the pathoogy report back it said he had stopped growing between 10 and 11 weeks and he had no abnormalities.  I found this confusing because I have read that you normally don't see anything when you miscarry prior to 12 weeks so if my son was only 10 to 11 weeks why did we see him.  He was completely separate from the placenta as in my placenta feel on the ground and he was still in my pants.
I think it just leaves me really confused.  I'm not hurting as much but I am looking forward to getting him back and putting him to rest so I can move on.  Was your experience similar.
My miscarriage was totally out of the blue one.  On monday I had pink discahrge, Tuesday it was llight to brown bleeding in the morning.  We went to the doctor and my cervix was still in tack.  We went to the doctor again in the afternoon because I saw red blood that wasn't getting any worse.  We went to hospital at 5pm, by 6pm it had gone from nothing to gushing and clots and by 9ish he was born.  Very unexpected with no preparation time.
I hope I haven't brought up all those feeings cause believe me I know what it feels like.  I'm just confused.
