Period for 20 days with mono?

Hello,
I am a 20 year old female. Up until a few months ago I was fairly healthy, with a history of asthma, hypothyroid, and pseudotumor cerebri. I have been sick for the last 4 months with fatigue, joint pain, numb "spots", red dots (like someone attacked me with a sharpie marker), redness on my arms and face, headaches, burning sensations, cracked toe nails, high blood pressure, and heart palputations/temporary shortness of breath. My latest symptom is that my menstral period lasted 20 days. My family doctor doesn't seem to be concerned? She has run a ton of blood work and all that came back positive is mononucleosis so she told me that it has to "run it's course". It's like she looks at my blood work and not me!!! I had mono when I was 16, I had a sore throat, a fever, and was exhausted for two weeks and then I was fine! This, whatever it is, is much worse and my throat is not sore and I am not running a fever. What should I do? The only other blood tests that came back positive/abnormal were lupus coagulant and low S protien. I don't know what to do!

definitely get a second opinion. i'm not a doctor, so i don't know what a positve lupus coagulant is..but it sounds like something your doc should be concerned about. go elsewhere to another doc. did you doc explain what the positive lupus thing meant?
