Yes it is possible to miss a period for many reasons.... If you have had some stress lately (perhaps studying for tests/finals).... have a different daily schedule..... different diet.... are getting more/less exercise. It sounds like you know when your periods are due, however you are still young and your body is still changing. Not sure if you are on birth control, but it will help to regulate your cycles and will give you some extra protection against getting pregnant. Also note, that if you are having sex and are on birth control that it is not 100% effective. There is still a chance you can get pregnant while on the pill.
If you are really worried that you might be pregnant, go to a doctor and ask to have blood tests done. That is the only way that you will know for sure if you are pregnant.
Hello, im 16 too, i was suppose to start my period Feb. 1st but its now Feb. 4th and i still havent started. im getting cramps and stuff but still no period, i keep going back and fourth to the bathroom thinking ive started, then i whipe and nothing is shown on the toilet paper, so i decided to take a Ept Pregnancy test this morning Feb. 4th at 4:30 am, and it was negitive, so im gonna wait another week to go to the Health Department, and take a blood test, unless i start my period, then i wont. but if i were you, id go ahead and take a blood test if you havent started it by now. hope this adviced helped you hun.
