Periods after the coil.
I had my mirena coil out nearly 5 weeks ago and the dr said I would b back on a normal cycle straight away. I've not had anything no spotting or even a period pain. I later found out I should have used a condom before I had it removed as sperm can live inside u for 7 days, I didn't do this. Could I be pregnant?

Hi, there is a small chance you are pregnant but I doubt it, get a test if you want to put your mind at rest... or you could make an appointment with the doctor for a chat about this.
Sometimes doctors just generalise about things and use the word normal. It can take a few months to settle back into a normal cycle, but because you have had unprotected sex I would get it checked.

Good luck
