Persistant yeast not responding to medications,,.

I have had a yeast infection for about 3 months now. I have tried Gynazole-1 & when that didn't work I was given 2 Diflucan pills taken 3 days apart. That didn't work so I went back to the Dr. who looked under the microscope & said it looked like definately yeast. I have had cultures & STD testing done, all fine. So I was given a 7 day treatment of Terazol & 2 more Diflucan pills (take 5 days apart) to take at the same time as using the Terazol. So far, I'm still irritated & burning.

Has anyone ever had anything like this & if so, what worked for you? This doesn't appear to be reoccuring, just resistant to the drugs they are giving me. I am becoming depressed, embarrassed & scared to be intimate (sometimes it's impossible because I am so sore anyway) and worried this will never go away. I don't get yeast infections often, sometimes years inbetween, and this is the first time I have had this problem.

Maybe you should try the candida diet, you should cut out on sweets, bread, milk, beer, corn products, because yeast bacteria are enjoying a lot on those foods, so stop feeding them, and the best remedy that works on me is making yogurt a part of my diet, plain fresh yogurt everyday, and taking 1,000mg of vitamin C 3X a day, it boost our immune system and fights some bad bacteria in our body including yeast, it is also important to hydrate yourself, drink plenty of water and cranberry juice.  So if prescribed medicine doesn't work on you, try the home remedy and watch your diet. Goodluck!

I should also note that I have not had sex since showing symptoms so I know I am not being reinfected by a male partner.
