Plan B Pill

I had unprotected sex on my period last month. It was on the 24th of August and I was supposed to start my period on the 20th of this month. I had taken the Plan B Pill right after sex. I had only been on my period a day and it lasted until I think about Thursday of that next week. It was about a full 7 day period, and of course there was no egg in me but for about a month I was freaking about being pregnant even with no signs of it. Drove my boyfriend up the wall so this past weekend I made my boyfriend go buy me a pregnancy test and it was negative. I made him do this because I was late by two days. I have heard the Plan B Pill can make you start early or even sometimes a week late. I really don't think I am pregnant but it is just annoying that I haven't started and I don't know what to do. I'm breaking out and my breast are tender..the usually period symptoms I get every month but I am so regular it is unreal and I have never been this off. Should I take another pregnancy test in about a week if I don't start? Or would it just be a waste of time? I bought a wal-mart brand of pregnancy test and I believe it is accurate. I don't think taking one a week later is going to say I am pregnant but my mom is on my butt wanting to know if I have started and I just don't know what to do. I know all of this sounds jumbled but I'm just nervous because my mom is always nosing about. She won't take me to get on birth control so I'm always nervous doing anything period with my boyfriend. (We use protection but I wanted one time without it and this is why I got the Plan B Pill because I can't get on birth control because of my mom not wanting to take me. I have no ID and I'm 18, yeah it sucks and I'm glad my boyfriend is going to take me to Planned Parenthood soon to get me on birth control..a early Christmas present:). I know this is kind of off topic but getting this out makes me feel better and if anyone has any suggestions on the Plan B Pill or has had sex on their period and the same thing happened with the pill..I just want some answers.

Another thing, my period last month stopped the next day after sex then started back that Sunday. Could that also be a cause on why it is late? I'm only 4 days late now.

Because you had sex on your period and you used Plan B and had a negative HPT, I really doubt that you're pregnant.  There is a higher dosage of hormones used in Plan B and that is most likely what is causing your period to be late.

A word of advice, I wouldn't suggest using Plan B as a common form of contraception.  I would also advise that you be careful and use a condom every time you have sex, there are a lot of STD's out there.

I know not to use Plan B as a all the time birth control. Sorry forgot to mention that I just wanted it for a one time thing. I understand everyone being very concerned about STD's. The reason why I didn't want to use a condom that time is because I wanted something special with him. And we are a serious relationship. But I really do understand to use condoms. The only thing I don't like about that pill is it causes my period to be late. But I'm glad it helped me not become pregnant.
