I took Plan B 7 days ago and am still bleeding. Is that normalNormal saline flush? Also, I am scheduled to start my regularRegular insulin period on the 26th which will probably be late due to Plan B. Don't I need to have a regularRegular insulin cycle before I can start taking the pill.
I don't think you should have started bleeding that fast after taking Plan b. I took Plan b back on April 7 and didn't start any bleeding until April 15. I would suggest to go to your doctor, because this does not sound right to me atleast. Did you take the pills correctly? 1 pill and then the 2nd pill 12 hours later?
Actually I should have stated that I took The Plan B on 6/14 and started bleeding 5 days later on 6/15. It is now 6/20 and I am still bleeding. Is that normalNormal saline flush?
Ok, you took Plan b on 6/14 started bleeding 5 days after taking it? So that would be today if 5 days later? Or did you start bleeding a day AFTER taking Plan b?
I took Plan B on 6/11, started bleeding 6/14 and am still bleeding. Sorry for the confusionConfusion Delirium, I have to look in my calendar as I am getting nervous!
Your welcome! Please be advised, you may not get the period that you are expecting on June 26. As this may already be your period for this month. Remeber Plan b can cause you to start early. A normaly period should resume next month around normal time or so.
So, that means that I would have to wait until next month when I have a regular cycle in order to start taking birth control pills. I think I should still take a pregnancy test after the 26th?
Unless I'm wrong, but I'm pretty almost 100% sure that this is indeed your period for this month. If however you do start bleeding on 6/26, then I would see your doctor and advise him/her that you were already bleeding this month. How long after of having sex did you take Plan b. I know you only have 72 hours to take it...any chance you took it later then that? If not, then yes I would think you would have to wait until you get your period next month to start your pills again.
The bleeding you have after taking Plan B is not your period, but a progestin withdrawal bleed. What you describe sounds perfectly normal. However, just so you know, your 'real' period will probably not arrive on schedule.
please help!!!!!!!!!
