Yeah, i need help too. I'm 19 and i also have air bubbles. I do not have a hysterectomy, nor a fistula, nor any type of organ prolapse. I don't know where it's coming from, i think its around the urethra, or maybe coming from it. Its like a little tiny 'pop' not even a fish bubbler pop, more like a sprite bottle pop. Ive never been pregnant. The doctor gave me a 'finger exam' and said i was 'too tight' so intercourse hurts, and why i always constipate. What is wrong with me. I wanna die.
I have had the problem of air bubbles coming from the vagina ever since I was 5 years old. I can remember feeling so uncomfortable and abnormal as I did not see any other kids seeming to have this problem. I sufferred in silence because it made me feel as though I was weird. I had been taken to the doctor to make sure there were no infections and/or sexual abuse. Everything was fine. Now at age 50 I have realized that the only thing that gives me complete relief is when I have taken Diflucan in the past. I recently spoke to my doctor about this discovery and he did not ignore my complaint but actually listened and we are getting some labs and looking at trying the Diflucan treatment specifically for this problem. I had been checked for yeasts infections in the past which came up negative and yet the Diflucan worked. The bubbles are there always after urinating but can happen when passing gas if the gas moves forward towards the vagina and not out the rectum. It is uncomfortable because you are not comfortable until you can completely expel the bubbles from the vagina. A urologist checked and said there were no abnormalities with my anatomy. I have had 3 children and I thought at one time that maybe having a baby would relieve the sysmptoms which it did not. I hope that children that have this problem can get help if more adults that have experienced this can speak up about it more now. It is an embarrassing problem to have until you discover that you are not sufferring alone. It will be awesome when gyn and urology specialists become aware of this problem as well.
Thanks for all the advice! (:
No you are perfectly normal!!! When you first start your menses your body is still adjusting to your homones and it may take a while to get your cycles straightened out and sometimes it may even not come for a month or so in between it is also normal to have the vaginal discharge that you are describing as long as it doesn't smell or become yellowish you are just fine.. As for the air bubbles it happens to everyone in certain circumstances it is definitly normal!!!
Nothing abnormal. After a first period, you might wait a while for a second one, or it might come early ... it takes a few months for things to get really regular menstrually.
The bubbles might be from your vagina having sucked some air in for one reason or another and then it comes out.
The whitish vaginal discharge is also quite normal. Only if it is bad smelling or very thick (like clotted cream or cottage cheese) should you be concerned. Normal vaginal discharge is milky or clear.
