Please help...

I am 20 yrs old and have always had irregular and pretty heavy periods, but my last real period was in March (almost 3 months ago) I had nothing in April and bleeding during intercourse only until now.  I started exercising again 4 days ago and I only bleed during workouts and the hour or so after. I have had off and on pain in my ovaries and no doctor seems to be able to (or willing to) really help me...I took an HPT and it was negative. Anyone?

Anything that can hit the cervix can cause issues.  There is a previous post here that has a lot of info:  http://health.walgreens.com/posts/Womens-Health/friable-cervix/show/491890  Taking birth control seems to make it worse from what I've read.

Do you think wearing tampons affects the condition?

This sounds like something I've read about called "friable cervix".  From what I understand the cells of your cervix are different or delicate and it can affect your cycle and can result in post-intercourse bleeding.  It may be something worth looking into.
