Please read this!!!!

Please girls...help me!!!
I'm freaking out...Yesterday while washing I found a painful area '"down there".
I examined it when I got out of the shower and noticed a small red lump.
My husband said it looked like a red bump under the skin...about the size of a pimple but
looked nothing like one.
Being paranoid...I just about looked at it every hour on the hour...It changed to like a clear blister type thing...my husband poked and proded...said it appeared to have a hair in the middle...He pulled on it and it popped clear fluid.
Now I have no pain whatsoever.....but when I got out of the shower today I looked at it...and it appears to resemble...a friction burn....little teenie tiny cuts.
I AM FREAKING OUT....i'm thinking herpes....thing is...I haven't been with anyone else other than my husband in almost 13 years.
And I wouldn't even think for a second that he would be with anyone else either.
What else could this be....I've read and seen pics about sebacious cysts...and it doesn't resemble that.
I have also read and looked at pics of herpes...and although it looks nothing like the horrific pics I've seen..
It sounds almost like it could very well be....red sore appearing at first and then small clear filled blisters...i have no scabbing over though....Please respond.

I'm sorry I would have to disagree with everyone else. Not to kill the hope or anything. But herpes can remain dormant for years in one person and when passed on to the next it can and usally surfaces in the next person. So a person can have herpes and no symptoms at all. A herpetic sore does look like a bump at first and after friction because of the sentive area, the skin gets thin very similar to a blister. Another thing to look for is burning during urination or in the area where the sore is. Herpes sore usally take about 7-8 days to heal. Anything else would have gone away. And just jugding by the area that its in....I would get tested just in case.

I agree it sounds like an ingrown hair.  If you & your husband were fiddling around with it, of course it's going to become a sore.

If by some slight chance it is herpes, it doesn't mean your husband has gone outside of the marriage.  If he does have genital herpes, he could be asymptomatic & contracted it well before he married you.  Since herpes isn't that easily transmitted, you could  have just recently became infected.  On the other hand, you could have contracted it before the marriage & are just now noticing symptoms.

That said, herpes usually is *on* the skin as opposed to *in* it.  And herpes doesn't have a hair that pops out of it.  Putting all that together I would say it isn't herpes but rather an ingrown hair that is now infected.

hi i agree with the other post that its probably ingrown hairs...
but you should look at vaginal warts.(hpv)
vaginal warts do not always look like a normal looking wart...il could be red, soft white or flesh looking.
good luck

Also have you recently shaved the area where the bump is?

I do shave but where it is....I doubt a razor has touched that area.
I did google ingrown  hair....but I don't think that's what it is.
Thanx

Thanx for the comments...
I am however still freaking...i google vaginal blisters and the only thing that pops up is herpes.
But it's weird....Symptoms sound like it...but all pics look nothing like it.
Was wondering....IF big IF....my husband did go outside our marriage would he have to experience symptoms first?...or could he just pass it along with no symptoms?
We have quite the active sex life... 3- 5 times a week....I have never had this or anything lke this b4.
We've been together forever...and I do know my husband would never cheat....but I am so freaked out I think i'm making this out to be more than it really is.

I agree, sound like an ingrown hair...Women who shave or wax "down there" often get them..if you do shave, make sure the razor is more sharp than dull, closer shave may limit the ingrown hair..I wouldn't worry too much, should go down in a few days..an ice cube may help..good luck!

I wouldnt worry, it sounds like an ingrown hair, especially if there was a hair in the middle.  I've had them and it really can make the whole area feel bruised.
